Day 1 - Saturday, NOV 30 - AIRPORT- HOTEL TRANSFER
Morning arrives at Accra airport, assist and transfer to your hotel by Heritage Tourism Services staff.
Depending on the time of arrival, we can visit the fishing village of James Town for a walking tour with a brief stopover at the James Town Café and the Brazil house, the ancestral home of a group of Afro-Brazilian returnees, is now an art space and gallery.

Day 2 - Sunday, DEC 01 - ACCRA – CITY TOUR
The morning after breakfast, depart to Accra and go on a city tour, visiting the following places:
- W.E.B DU Bois Centre for Pan African Studies and tour the burial place of the father of Pan Africanism.
- Dr. Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park was built in honor of the first President of Ghana and a great Pan-Africanist.
- The National Museum to see the historical and cultural regalia of the country
Drive through to view the International Conference Centre, Statehouse, and Parliament of Ghana, where the country's 275 legislative bodies are located.
- James Town, which is one of the historic towns in Accra with the lighthouse constructed by the British as a navigational aid for trading vessels sailing through the Gulf of Guinea - The independence square is Accra and Ghana’s official ceremonial grounds with the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. It has a seating capacity of 25,000 and was the venue where President Clinton was hosted during his March 1998 visit to Ghana. A record 500,000 people thronged the square to give a tumultuous welcome to the first serving US president to visit Ghana. It hosts the yearly independence celebration of pupils, students, and workers, with the country's president taking the official salute. Also, view the independence arch built to commemorate Ghana’s independence on the 6th of March 1957 with the country’s motto “Freedom and Justice.” -The Jubilee House, the presidential Mansion of Ghana, was built by Ex-President Kuffor in 2008.
Have lunch in a local restaurant and finally visit the arts center, which houses the Centre for National Culture in the Greater Accra region. It is a souvenir market where many arts, crafts, textiles, and other artifacts are displayed and sold.

Day 3 - Monday, DEC 02 - ACCRA - KUMASI TOUR
Morning Depart after breakfast and visit a community Basic and High school in a deprived community. Interact with the school children and engage in service learning of your kind such as teaching and construction, among others. Afternoon visits the African heritage center for FREE INDIGENOUS FOOD lunch, pay a courtesy call on the Chief and elders of the town together with Kofi, who is the Babahene(chief of all princes & princesses of the Town accompanied by cultural performances. Tour the facility and go through a traditional naming ceremony to be given an African name and its meaning. Afternoon drive to Kumasi, the capital of the Asante kingdom.

Day 4 - Tuesday, DEC 03 - KUMASI CITY TOUR
Morning check out of your hotel after breakfast to Kumasi, have a city tour of Kumasi, the capital of the Asante kingdom, by visiting the Manhyia Palace of the Asante Monarch built as compensation by the British in 1935 after the return of the Asante monarch Prempeh II from exile. The palace was used by other Monarchs before it was converted into a museum in 1998.
In the afternoon, visit the Ashanti Craft villages of Ahwiaa, which are noted for wood carving, Ashanti Stools, and fertility dolls. Bonwire is pointed out for the famous Kente Cloth and the Adinkra Cloth Village of Ntonso.Evening Dinner

Day 5 - Wednesday, DEC 04 - KUMASI – ELMINA TOUR
Morning Depart after breakfast to Cape Coast, stopping at Assin Manso to visit the Slave River (Donkor Nsu), where the slaves were forced to have their last bath on their Southern march to the coast for shipment. Visit the burial site of two former slaves whose remains were brought from the U.S. and Jamaica during the first Emancipation Day celebration in August 1998. Libation will be poured for the souls of the departed. Stop in between for lunch. Arrive in Cape Coast, which used to be the Capital of Ghana before 1877.

Day 6 - Thursday, DEC 05 - ELMINA- CAPE COAST CASTLE TOUR
Morning depart after breakfast and visit the Cape Coast Castle, built by the British in 1665 and Houses the West Africa Historical Museum. Continue to visit the Elmina Castle, built by the Portuguese in 1482. It represents the first and largest European fortification along the Coast of Africa under UNESCO protection as a world heritage monument. Tour the castle and pour libation for the ancestors at the door of no return.

Day 7 - Friday, DEC 06 - CAPE COAST – ACCRA TOUR
Morning drive to the Kakum National Park, an Evergreen forest covering about 360 km2 with trees reaching about 65 meters. It has animals including Elephants, Bongos, and primates, as well as over 400 species of butterflies. Walk through the forest to learn the medicinal use of different species of plants and experience a canopy walkway. Have lunch and return to Accra.

Day 8 - Saturday, DEC 07 - SHOPPING /PACKING/FAREWELL DINNER
Start the day with last-minute shopping, including a visit to the Makola market.
Also, visit the Arts Centre for National Culture (Ghana’s biggest craft market). Morning free for last-minute shopping, collection of clothes, and packing. Evening dress in your African for a farewell dinner in a Ghanaian home.
Strolling into the deep interior of the crafts market is a great way to discover old antiques. Explore Ghana’s Oxford Street and shops. After dinner, we check into the airport for departure.
